Craft Fair Season with Authorize.net

August 30th, 2008 · No Comments

Craft Fair Season is upon us and it is a ton of work.  Not only do we have to have enough stuff to sell but we have to have sellable stuff.  So our booth has have a enough stuff to make people want to come over.  Nothing irks me more then a booth where there is only 10 different things but you can order it.  If I wanted to order it I wouldn’t be here.  So last year we did our first crafts fair and it went okay.  One was at an old bitty home where everyone wanted something for nothing.  And the other one was outside by the water in December.  As you can guess it was really really cold.  This year I think I am gonna try to get a heat lamp.  That would be nice huh?  Another thing we have to focus on is payment.  Right now we have this payment system that works well but…….  I am always looking for something better.  I found authorize.net which is awesome.  It is .25 per transaction which is better then some place and it is deposited right into your account.  And right now you can sign up for free.  It looks like a fabulous deal overall.  I think this craft fair season I am gonna try this.Until next time……

PS3 Gaming System

August 30th, 2008 · No Comments

I am at a total loss here.  I have been bugging my hubby for quite some time to get a Wii Fit and then we babysit and that kinda goes out the window.  While we were babysitting the 8 year old Hendrix brought over his new PS3 gaming system.  And it was pretty darn cool.  So I got to thinking how this would be fun.  But I am at a loss as to weather I should buy a PS3 or a Wii Fit.  I guess the Wii Fit is better for me if I want to become more fit right?  Can anyone help me here?  What to to what to do?Until next time…..

Swing Sets for the Backyard

August 25th, 2008 · No Comments

My in laws have no kids, yet they want to replace their swing sets.  I don’t know why but I am gonna go along with it.  Especially if it means that I may potentially get something out of the deal.  I know it sounds bad but I am trying to go to Disney for free next year.  So why not.  Well I found this place that has these really cool swing sets made out of cedar and these really cool swing sets that have like the whole tree house action going on.  I wanted to share it here with you before I shared it with them.  A lot of the people who read my blog along with others here on Chatty Women have kids and if I can help one of you out then I am sure gonna try.  I know summer is almost over for some parts of the US but our hottest days are still to come.  Prime swing set time here.

Until next time….

Check out this Lingerie Site

August 21st, 2008 · No Comments

OMG!  I have already sent it to Sunshine to see if we can get it as an affiliate but I had to share with everyone this fabulous site I found.  Talk about hot to trot outfits that I would love to have and at a price I can afford.  Some of the outfits on here are just too cute and I could totally see myself wearing them.  The lingerie on here is just totally sexy.  Don’t you all agree with me?  So what are we waiting for?  I say we gotta dive in head first, okay maybe after we get the site onboard with Sunshine.  Then I am all about diving in. Until next time….

Moving Day Part 2

August 21st, 2008 · No Comments

And then if finding boxes that are cost effective wasn’t enough how about finding a way to move them.  You can always get the uhaul that you have to load and then drive and then pray doesn’t break down on the way and then clean and then fill up.  Have you ever filled up one of those beasts?  Or you can do it the easy way. UPack is one of those really really cool moving companies.  They deliver this pod like system to your driveway, you load the bad boy up and then they come and pick it up from your driveway and put it in your new driveway.  You don’t have to pay for gas you don’t have to use a dolly going up and down those ramps and guess what you don’t have to drive it or fill it all up tomorrow cuz the daily cost will kill you for rentals.  This is really the way to go here.Until next time. …

Moving Day Part 1

August 21st, 2008 · No Comments

So we all dread moving day.  I know personally that I never thought I would move again after we bought our house but boy was I wrong.  As I write this I look around my beautiful home at all these boxes that are still stacked up wondering where I am going to put the stuff.  How can I have accumulated so much over a 3 year period of time?  Then I look in the garage at boxes that I didn’t even unpack from the move before.  Now the scary part is how much we spend on boxes when we move.  I mean we can get banana boxes from the local grocery if they still do that but then your stuff smells like rotten fruit by the time you get it from point A to point B.  So I found this supply place that had a pretty good deal on boxes.  For $85.00 out the door we received 35 moving boxes along with supplies delivered right to my door.  The sad part, it didn’t even make a dent.  But it did help a bit.  I liked the fact that they came to me and that I didn’t have to pay shipping costs for them either.  So the next time you get a wild hair up your bum to move check them out.  I was glad I did.Until next time…..

Net Worth

August 18th, 2008 · No Comments

I so love reading the Net Worth blogs on Chatty Women and I thought I would share with you my Net Worth.  Now if you blink you will miss it.  LOL!  Actually right now my husband is transitioning from a Union Organizer which put so much stress on his life I could hardly stand living with him most of the time.  They were the biggest bunch of ….. you have ever worked with in your life and there was no way they were doing anything to benefit the union carpenters here in Northern CA.  If anything they were making it harder for them to stay employed.  So now he is going into the Fire Service full time and that is a very time consuming and challenging job seeking process.  But it is all going to be great once it is done.  Until that happens though we are living on his unemployment of $810 every two weeks and then my checks of about $1100 every two weeks.  Money is tight but it is all good.  Right now as it stands here is my net worth information.

401K and Pensions from his previous job $100,000 ish

My IRA $1500.00

ING Savings $10.00

Redwood Credit Union Savings $100.00

2 Savings Bonds at $50.00 each

Sunshine Rewards $287.00

Debt is close to $20,000 including both cars and the vacuum.

Hubby needs new running shoes, cashed out on 3 mypoints accounts last night for 2 $25.00 gift cards and 1 $10.00 gift card for Foot Locker.

Overall view at 31 years old is we got lots of money for retirement right now.  Far more then most people our age.  However, right now we got nada.  LOL!

Until next time…..

Progesterone Cream for Pregnancy

August 13th, 2008 · No Comments

I have spent over 4 years trying to have a child and three failed pregnancies later I have found that one major role in trying to concieve and staying pregnant for me was my progesterone level.  I have always found that I know way to much about my body.  That can be a good thing and a bad thing.  But I have been reading on a forum how some people have miscarried and some people have the baby bug and I thought I would share the imprtance of progesterone with you.  Although most doctors if you have had repeated miscarriages will prescribe it some people aren’t lucky enough to get it at the pharmacy price and have to buy it off of the market shelves.  And then you find yourself wondering which one to get.  Well I have found a natural progesterone cream that may be perfect for you.  As you will see on website progesterone can help in many ways but it really can be a life saver for some.  No pun intended there.  Here are some quotes from this website:

PROGESTERONE & OVULATION
Declining levels of progesterone signal the uterus to shed its endometrial lining. This results in a shortening of the menstrual cycle, resulting in anovulatory and irregular cycles, and early onset of peri-menopause.

PROGESTERONE AND PREGNANCY
Progesterone transforms the lining of the uterus into the endometrium. Soft, spongy, rich in blood vessels and glandular tissue, the endometrium forms a perfect bed for the egg. Progesterone also relaxes the uterus to give the egg a better chance to implant itself into the endometrium.

PROGESTERONE & MISCARRIAGE
Progesterone is essential to insure implantation and to prevent rejection of the developing embryo. Without necessary levels of progesterone the endometrium cannot sustain and will naturally abort the embryo.

So what are you waiting for?  Please check this site out and maybe it will just change your life.

Until next time…
