View from the Valley

It seems as though excitement is down this year for the Relay for Life.  I think it is due to the economy.  But regardless of that we don’t even have the whole team excitement that we ususally have.  The huge relay meetings, the fun snacks, any of it.  So I was thinking of some different ways to get people to become more excited.  If donating money and free food doesn’t excite them what will.  Well one way I thought was actually inviting them to the Relay.  I thought to myself how I would feel if I actually got an invite from someone in the mail to come out and see what it was all about.  I came across this site that had some really really cute invites. party invitations.  How would it make you feel to get one of these in the mail?  Would it get you to come?  Would it get you to think about what we are trying to do here?  I think it may be to late this year but we do have after parties and I think that I am going to start with these.
