Life Insurance for a Child?

July 10th, 2008 · No Comments

I was always under the understanding that life insurance for a child was a waste of money.  But then I found this article about it and I thought I would share.  First off, I have always been a huge core blood person.  I always said that when I had my kids that I would have the umbillical cord blood frozen so that in the future if my child needs anything or anything like that it would be there.  It was kind of a peace of mind for me.  Then I found this life insurance article and I thought the same way.  We buy life insurance for us.  So that our children don’t have to worry about burrying us and unexpected expenses can be covered.  But what if something tragic happens to them.  I know we don’t want to ever think that way but over Christmas I had a friend who I had been on a yahoo group with for years get killed by a Drunk Driver.  Her and 5 of her kids were killed coming home from Christmas.  I know it is a hard reality to face but it is something that I think more people need to look at.  You wouldn’t want to put your little one in a brown paper bag would you?  I would take care of him or her like she would take care of me.  I thought I would share the website with you life insurance for kids. It’s not a lot of money for peace of mind.  At least look into it.

Until next time……..
