View from the Valley

Well this past weekend My hubby and I went on a vacation of lifetime.  Most people think of a 3 day vacation as a quick getaway but for us it was way more then that.  We started our trip on Saturday morning traveling to Long Beach to stay aboard the Queen Mary.  Since it is a very haunted hotel we just had to know what all the hype was about.  Once on there we found it to be a grand ship but very run down.  The city of Long Beach who owns it just isn’t keeping it up.  And the amount of money they make off of it you think they could take a little time.  Everything on here costs something.  Our stateroom was nice and big for a stateroom of that time.  They were the first class staterooms when the ship was sailing.  I have taken a picture for you to see.

We explored the ship all day and night looking for ghosts.  I took pictures of everything trying to see an orb or something that would show me a ghostly spirit.  Unfortunatally I saw nothing.  They didn’t want to play with me.  Maybe because I believe.  We also wanted to find the first class swimming pool.  This is one of the most haunted parts of the ship and one of the most beautiful.  First off they renumbered the floors of the ship as to throw people off.  But my husbands detective work paid off and we finally found it.  It is only open to spirits of the great beyond but we did take a picture of it for everyone.

Overall this ship was quite the experience.  I don’t think I will ever stay here again but just knowing that I stayed on a piece of history is fine with me.
