Yesterday afternoon, I discovered that some unauthorized charges were put on my credit card.  While our family was on vacation in Arizona, the thief was hard at work in Florida, filling up gas tanks. 
My credit card company was very responsive.  They immediately closed the account and reissued a new card which I received by overnight mail.   […]
