OK, I’m a big fan of 24 and was pretty disappointed that it didn’t run last Winter because of the writer’s strike in Hollywood.  But I’m happy to report that Jack Bauer will be back and sooner than I hoped.  On Sunday, November 23rd, a special 2 hour event will air on Fox.  From the description of 24: Redemption that appears on the Fox website, this special event will be a prequel to Season 7 that will start in early 2009.  

Now, as if one Jack isn’t enough, how about this news recently published by Variety magazine?  Johnny Depp is on board to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in a 2011 release of Pirates of the Caribbean 4!  http://www.variety.com/VR1117992798.html
