When does your age change from 29 and holding to another number?
Many of my friends say their ages are 29 and holding. I usually never say that, however, I guess when I am with my friends I could be.
This weekend we went down to my daughter and son in law’s home to celebrate her birthday. Guess what age she is now…………29 years old! Shhh….don’t tell anyone! I still can’t believe that this has happened. Where has the time gone? She couldn’t have grown that fast. I am not that old.
So if I am 29 and holding and my daughter is 29…what do I say? Am I 30 and holding now? Do you change each year? Or am I really now my own age?
To top things off she is having a baby in August. When a grandbaby comes into the picture, does it change to 30 and holding?
Next time I get together with my friends I am going to ask them these questions. We are all going to have a heart to heart about this subject. Funny part is though, I am not the only one about to be a grandmother. Five others are joining this club. So I am thinking that they should have answers for my questions.

I, personally, am 29 with 3 years experience. So, you could be 29, with 29 years experience. I always thought that was a little “funner” than the old 29 and holding that everyone seems to do.
