Ice Box Cake, Great for Memorial Day Parties!

May 16th, 2008 · No Comments

Ice Box cake is a favorite in my house and at all of my parties.  It is so simple and yet people rave over it.  So, if you need a quick and easy dessert idea, this is worth a try.  Chances are you probally have all the ingredients.

Ingredients:

Chocolate and Vanilla Instant Pudding

Gallon of Milk

Box of Original Grahm Crackers

Banana’s

Begin by making two boxes of each Vanilla and Chocolate Pudding, follow directions on the box.

Line the bottom of the pan with grahm crackers.

Next place vanilla pudding over the grahm crackers.

Next a layer of Bananas.

Then another layer of Chocolate Pudding.

Followed by a layer of grahm crackers.

Then a layer of pudding, then a layer of bananas.

You get the idea.  You can use as many layers as you like, I usually do two of each flavor.  I usually top mine with a layer of bananas and then crushed grahm crackers on top.  Place the cake in the frig for atleast six hours, the serve.  It will actually cut like cake!

You can use different types of pudding if you like and you can also add marashino cherries to the top layer.  This recipe sounds crazy, but people love it!  Enjoy!
