What’s that smell?

I try not to look a gift horse in the mouth. So I happily accept gifts and put them away under my sink until desperate times come to desperate measures.  That time came this week. I used the last of my favorite Double Chocolate Philosophy bath wash and did not have another under the counter. I decided to use this time to go through some of my Christmas gifts from years past.

bath and body worksFirst on the list was an Aromatherapy gift set from Bath and Body Works.  The gift set included 2 travel sized lotions and 2 travel sized shower gels.  First up was the Stress Relief – Eucalyptus Spearmint. Sounds appealing right? Well… Let’s list the positives – lathers well, cleans well, large quantities are not necessary.  The negatives – well there is just one, the scent. Now let me preface this by saving I’m more of an apple, pineapple, chocolate type person. This sent was very strong and overwhelming. But I can see how it would appeal to men and women who loved musky scents like those often found in men’s cologne.

So while I didn’t love the smell I still have half a bottle left and I think I’m going to use it as bubble bath. A little goes a long way when it comes to bubbles and it is suppose to induce stress relief and who couldn’t use more of that?!

If you have any muscle aches, Eucalyptus is great for that.

I use that one in the bathtub as well sometimes, especially when I am sore. Not the kind of thing I would use in the morning though. I love my H2O from Disney for mornings. Of course, I wouldn’t turn down much of anything. I have about 25 bottles of various philosophy scents!
