It is sample testing time!

I am super duper excited because I will be moving next month and with moving comes cleaning up and cleaning out.  I attacked the area under my bathroom sink over the weekend and put together a monster basket of free samples I’ve collected over the past two years living here. I’ve broken into a few in the past couple of days so I will try to write reviews every so often on everything I try out.

This morning I opened up a free sample I received from with my order last week. I received the Fekkai Glossing Shampoo/Glossing Conditioner Dual Sachet. I have read about the Fekkai line of hair care products but have not bought any since I normally buy shampoo at the salon not at Sephora. It was free and saves my more expensive shampoo so I gave it a whirl.

There is enough product in the sachet for at least 3 washings. Less is more with shampoo and conditioner and it is the same with this brand.  When in doubt add more water not more shampoo when you are washing. I found that it had a pleasant smell and bubbled up nicely in my Houston bath water. Rinsing was not a problem either and the conditioner did help keep the tangles at bay. I just had a touch up job on my highlights so I can’t really tell if the shine in my hair is from the product or the highlights right now but I am noticing how soft my hair is tonight since I air dried and didn’t add anything to my hair while getting up and hitting the doctors office.

So overall – I give this sample a thumbs up.  I have a few more samples of this product after I finish this round and will try it when I don’t have fresh highlights to test the shine factor.  If it went on sale under $20 I’d definitely buy this but I am a slave to my MoroccanOil right now and will stick with it.
