I am in the process of cleaning out my apartment and have been reflipping through my old Shape and Self magazines. I have found some really good recipes and tips by rereading my magazines. Tonight I found this one tip that I was really surprised about because it was something I would have never thought about had I not read this tip. It has me rethinking my approach to drinking water each day, especially while I am sitting at my desk.
Smoker’s lips (those fine lines around your mouth) is on the rise, even in nonsmokers. Why? Apparently, too much pursing as you sip on a water bottle or sip through a straw, can cause the same wrinkling around your lips.
Eeek! I drink the equivalent of 4-5 bottles of water each day! I think I will be bringing a large plastic cup to work to drink out of instead. If you want to avoid these wrinkles, the tip suggested either trying a wide-mouthed bottle (try the HEB branded water) or switching to a glass.

Interesting. I usually use a sports bottle and squirt it into my mouth. I wonder if that is better, worse, or same?

I would think squirting into the mouth would be better if you aren’t pursing. I think the pursing of the lips is the key.
Prudence- I have the same issue sometimes. Usually if I get up and walk around and then come back later things will get better.
