If you are anything like me you are anxiously awaiting for the 80s/90s sensation New Kids On The Block (NKOTB for short) to hurry up and release their tour dates since reuniting on the Today Show just last week. Well per the NKOTB website 3 tour dates have been announced to date (woo hoo!)
- May 16th in New York for the Today Show Summer Concert Series
- May 17th in East Rutherford, NJ at the IZOD Center
- May 18th in Boston at the Tweeter Center
Now the best part Mom’s out there is that you have an easy excuse to see the kids from the block at the May 17th concert. Why? Because that concert will also feature Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Talk about a great Mother-Daughter bonding experience. You both can scream for your favorites together and you can easily blow it off to non-fans as a my daughter wanted to see Miley/the Jonas brothers instead of admitting you are going to see NKOTB. I have no problem admitting wanting to see NKOTB but I respect those that might get some slack. So if you aren’t in East Rutherford maybe you can catch a cheap flight up there with your daughter and have a good time. I’m still patiently awaiting Houston’s date. I know my luck it will either be during my Disney trip or they’ll pick something like Dallas during 2nd or 3rd quarter. I’ll just have to wait and see.
