Pink Ritas and Lip Gloss

I’ve been trying to convince Mike for the past few months to get a cat. He is not a cat person but I am a total cat fanatic. Around 4th grade I got my first cat - a black and white tabby named Twinkles. Around 6th grade I got my second cat - a gorgeous ragdoll named Teddy. Both were just the perfect cats but have since gone to kitty heaven. I am starting to wear on Mike by telling him about Teddy since he never met him. Teddy was a pretty cool cat. He was about the size and build of my small Pomeranian dog. I think that is the main reason those two got along - the one thought the other was the same animal and vice versa! Teddy was an attention crazed animal so when we started teaching Murphf (the Pomeranian) tricks (and thus giving out treats), Teddy quickly picked up and started learning tricks as well - such as sit, roll over, come. It was quite hilarious.

So I think I have a shot at getting a cat soon. Mike is really intrigued by how Teddy acted especially since my vet said the Ragdoll breed in general has dog-like tendencies. So like always, I am one step ahead and figure I need to start preparing for when Mike agrees. So, I have started looking for a cat condo for our feline to play and sleep in while we are out as well as toys and an automatic litter box. If you know of any reputable Ragdoll breeders in South Texas or maybe a rescue group please let me know!
