I love receiving photo announcements in the mail. I feel it really personalizes the announcement and the occasion being celebrated. I especially love receiving Birth Announcements from my friends as they have all started entering that phase of their lives – marriage, dog, then first baby. I don’t get to see my friends in person that often, normally just leave messages via myspace or facebook, but receiving Birth Announcements and follow up email pictures makes me feel close with them again. I absolutely fell in love with this announcement from the Doodlebug Dezigns website.
I think if the time comes for me to be announcing the birth of a baby girl that this is going to be the way I go. I still have a ways to go but this will definitely be something I remember. The good thing about this site as well is that they do Holiday picture cards and Wedding Announcements which are more inline with my needs right now so I think I’ll be checking into that this holiday season.
