Cell phone Ringtones - this has got to be the biggest rip off ever! What’s worse is that I keep doing surveys through Greenfield or OTX on Sunshine Rewards for the reward ($1.50 a day!!) I get and the surveys keep asking how I feel about ringtones you buy for a couple of bucks but expire after a few months. How about a big fat NO from me. What a rip off!
So I have held off on buying any more ring tones after I got a new phone in November and couldn’t keep any of the custom ones I bought on the old phone. How disappointing. I was just learning to accept my dull, out of the box cell phone when I was turned onto a website that offers free ring tones. I know what you are thinking - there has to be a catch - I thought so too until I read some actual responses from posters I trust on various message boards (I checked 3 before signing up). I found this site to be safe, non-spammy, and non-telemarketing so I signed up and gave it a try Thursday. Since Thursday I have sent 4 songs to my cell phone for free and have not received a single text or phone call nor any charges other than standard text message charges (but I have a plan so I won’t really see those). So if you are in desperate need to customize your cellphone I do recommend Myxer.com to help spice things up. I have been pleasantly happy with the whole process and I have my Fantasmic ring tone back and my Pirates of the Caribbean ring tone back!

I am amazed at how easy Myxer is to use. However, as my new every two is up in July, I’m trying to avoid downloading too many.

Hmm - Wish it would work for me. I can’t ever get ANY of those to work. We just make our own using Motorola software.
