Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be one of the best experiences. There are many resources available since it is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. With that said Disney also realizes their popularity which sometimes makes a family vacation not so budget friendly. Luckily though the whole Orlando area is buzzing with tourist attractions and lodging that will fit anyone’s budget and anyone’s preferences. For example if you want to see other attractions like Universal Orlando or Sea World you might not want to stay on Disney property but somewhere right outside so that you have easy access to Interstate 4 (the theme park attraction super highway).
A great resource for finding budget friendly off site hotels is Lake Buena
Vista Hotels . If you are unfamiliar with the Orlando area, Lake Buena Vista is a suburb right outside of Orlando where Walt Disney World is located and just a quick jump in the hotel shuttles or your rental car to Pleasure Island or CityWalk at Universal if you want to go out for dinner and some themed shopping or the theme parks for the day. One disney good neighbor hotel that I found with free shuttle service to WDW was the Orlando Vista Hotel. The hotel is actually themed in bright colors and building “ornaments” just like the Disney hotels. One of the plusses of the hotel is that they have conference rooms for holding Corporate events and training sessions.
With the close proximity to the parks and free shuttles this hotel is an attractive choice for people planning a group event so that the participant’s families can tag along for some fun while mom or dad is in their meetings. One such event, The 2008 American Urological Association Annual Meeting, is being held at the convention center in Orlando but does not have a designated hotel for participants to stay in. The Orlando Vista Hotel would be an excellent choice in this case because it is located within walking distance of the convention center and offers the free shuttles to allow participants and their families easy and quick access to Walt Disney World. So if you are planning an event or just want a budget hotel give the Orlando Vista Hotel a visit.
