I have a few important events coming up in the next few months: Mike’s completion of the CPA exam, Mike’s Birthday, and then hopefully that other once in a lifetime event I’m not suppose to remember/talk about 
So I’ve started thinking that since this is such a big year for the two of us I should probably get him a nice keepsake to remember it by. I still get excited when I look at my Pucci handbag that I got right after passing my CPA exam and remember all the hard work I went through to get it and Mike deserves the same. He rarely buys anything nice for himself so I figure its my job to do that for him.
So I started thinking about it the past few days. Originally I thought maybe a PS3 but those are still a little pricey for us and they don’t last forever – maybe 3 or 4 years tops. So I scratched that because it just wouldn’t be meaningful past the initial usage phase. Then I thought maybe a watch. Those are pretty nice gifts, they do hit a wide range of prices, and they do last a lifetime. So after searching a few websites I think I have my mind made up on a Seiko watch but I just don’t know which one yet. I have a few picked out so I think I’m going to print the pictures and look at them for a few days and then decide. I always find looking at a picture of anything for a few days works well when trying to decide on something major like a meaningful purchase or for simple things like a new haircut. I’ll post my favorites below and why I picked them and maybe yall could help me decide on the Seiko watch.
I liked the two tone (silver & gold) on the band and the blue background. Its very unique looking and doesn’t look like his other watch. Its also dressier so it would go well as a “work” watch.
This one also has the two tone on the band but it has a black background which I think might be more universal. I also liked how simple the face of the watch is.
So those are my top two choices. I like the Seiko watch brand so I definitely know I’m a winner there. I just don’t know which one to get. What do you think? Which one would you get?

I’d go the black goes with everything route, myself.

I like the watch idea! I gave my husband a choice when we got engaged on a wedding gift for him from me. I would give him a watch (which is what I was hoping he would pick) or a Sega Genesis (yea….I am dating myself). Guess which one he picked? The Sega…….
Oh I remember the Sega Angela. My brother and I loved played the Sega Game Gear (remember that one). Which is why I’m not giving Mike a choice. He’d so pick the PS3 which is not a timeless gift.
I like the blue one personally, but I think I’d go with the black one because it does look more masculine and would go with everything. Great choices!!
