I fully realize that it is now Thursday and I am just starting to gather my thoughts about the Bachelor which was shown on Monday of this week. I’ve been debating whether to watch the show again on abc.com or just let it go and talk about what I briefly remembered/heard. I watched the show at my apartment gym which is connected to an indoor basketball court filled with people playing so it was pretty darn loud Monday night.
I decided I couldn’t undergo the torture for a 2nd time by rewatching so here we go. My initial thoughts were if I were ever so unlucky that Mike and I were to break up I’d have no chance of being on the Bachelor. Apparently singing and playing a musical instrument is a requirement to be a contestant. Oh yes for the 2nd week in a row our lovely ladies decided they had to perform for our Bachelor their musical talents. I give them props for trying but he isn’t going to keep you if you can sing or play an instrument if your personality sucks.
Secondly, you have to appear really needy or insecure with yourself if you want to go far as well. Another strike on my resume. We had 2 girls (Marshana & Shayne) extremely insecure with themselves this episode and both made it to the next round by bringing it up and putting our Bachelor on the spot. Guess we are seeing how big of a pushover he really is.
Lastly, I learned from this episode the standard of sleeziness that this Bachelor is ok with. Apparently taking off your undies is just too much but making out on your 1st group date is a-ok with him. Hmm for some reason I thought he’d wait another episode or two before kissing these girls but apparently his and their lips were just too hot for that. Or he’s just as sleezy as the rest of them.
Looking forward to next week to see what other talents these girls possess or to see how sleezy they can be. I know the drama in the house should be coming soon based on the previews. Maybe next week will be the week! Otherwise this is shaping up to be another boring season of the Bachelor.
