I am a huge fan of the Disney Animated Classics and have been trying to buy them as they are released from the vault to add to my DVD collection. I have been pretty good the past few years of keeping my list up with which dvds are out and the upcoming releases after missing Beauty and the Beast a couple of years ago. I almost had a similar fate with Aladdin this year but luckily I was warned on a message board that Cinderella and Aladdin would be returning to the vault January 31st and checked my collection.
So in case there is anyone else out there collecting Disney Animated DVDs, run – not walk – to your nearest store and make sure you grab Aladdin and Cinderella as you only have 2 more days until they return to the vault for the next 7-10 years. All parts will be going in the vault as well.
On brighter news Disney will be releasing the following movies this year (2008) from the vault:
- 101 Dalmations – Spring
- Sleeping Beauty – October
- The Aristocats – February
And the following are rumored to be released in 2009:
- Fantasia
- Pinnochio
- Snow White
