So my sunglasses from Zenni Optical finally arrived. I don’t want to say I was doubting their quality, but when a pair of glasses is $20 including shipping, ones curiosity is piqued. I was very please with the quality, and they came with a case and cleaning cloth. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The vyrl coupon fiasco
August 28th, 2008 · No Comments
I’ll admit there, a part of me that is thinking “there’s a company that regulates coupons? How do I work for them?” Anyway, remember a couple of weeks ago when I blogged about the great coupons that were available on Facebook via the check it Out application? The ones distributed by the […]

I got my rewards-I got $50 rewards dollars-not sure how that happened, but I’m not fighting it.
In other news, we had tax free weekend a couple of weeks ago here. I didn’t get anything extravagant, but a clip on the news has been bugging me-the guy was saying how he was buying a TV, […]

Those new pre-print coupon scanners at CVS
August 19th, 2008 · 2 Comments
Does your CVS have them? Mine does, and it’s great! I can just scan my ExtraCare card, and out print coupons. They’re like the ones you get on your receipts, so they’re good for a couple of weeks (I got one for $3 off of Revlon one week, then the next week they had a […]

The mother was taking her birthday gift to the little nephew out of the car. I notice the gift bag she is using is the one I put her birthday present in last month.
“Oh, no, that bag’s broken! I meant to warn you…” The mother examines it. It appears to be a fully functional gift […]

Inexpensive prescription glasses-found!
August 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment
I had my annual eye exam yesterday. As part of my benefits, I can get either glasses or contacts up to a certain dollar amount. I elected to get contacts, mainly because I figured that it’s easier to come by inexpensive eyeglasses than cheap contacts. In particular, I’m planning ordering a pair […]

So about a week ago I got a dozen and a half little bags of rice crackers at Ocean State Jot Lot. They were $1.99 for all of them, so I figured they were worth a shot. Yeach. I think it may be the rice bran oil going rancid (though they don;t expire until August), […]

Yay Halloween!
July 31st, 2008 · No Comments
My favorite holiday is Halloween. While adulthood has limited my costuming (or Fancy Dress, as the British say), I can still revel in the glories of costumes gone by. My first year of college I was a fairy-I wore a blue disco dress I had from a show I was in in high […]
