Just got an e-mail from ING Direct that it has officially been proven that I did not make charges I did not make last year.  Huge weight off my shoulders, obviously, but also means one less thing I need to worry about on my credit report.  I know all of us personal finance bloggers are always making certain to keep on top of our credit reports, but  I think I may end up getting yet another copy of mine in a month or so to ensure that all of this junk over the past couple of months hasn’t affected it at all.

My one huge preoccupation with my money and credit these days is on making certain everything is squeaky clean for when I apply for student loans for grad school in a couple of months (I hope!  That is, I hope I’m going to grad school, but I’d take grad school no loans, ha).  I have checked it about twice in the past six months, but I am thinking that I may look into a way to get a free credit score at the same time.  As some private loans are credit-based, this verification will put me in good shape.
