I just thought I’d throw out some things that I think have helped me make it to the two year mark with this blog.
- If you don’t like something, stop using it. When I started out, I saw all the personal finance bloggers I liked doing a monthly networth-like English Major Money, Penny Foolish, and Revache, so I figured I had to do one too. Sometime last year, I was prepping to prep my networth post, and I thought “Oh, god, not that.” So it was gone. Many similar features have gone the same way with this thought.
- Thinking it? Blog it! Some of my most popular posts have been ones I thought would be minorly popular.
- As Wanda said, the beauty of personal finance is that you can blog about anything and money.
