I have now used both of my Groupons…

And I have to say, Groupon gets a rousing thumbs-up from me.  They were very different Groupons-one to a restaurant, one to a store.  The restaurant one was easy as anything to redeem and use,  if you’ve ever redeemed a Restaurant.com gift certificate you can do it.

My other Groupon, sand the one I’d like to review further, was to 1154 Lill Studio.  For those of you who have never heard of this store, you go, pick out a style of handbag you want to create , then choose the fabrics you want to use.  I have summarized it as “Build-a-Bear for purses,” in fact when someone commented on my purse last night and after I explaine the concept, they made the same remark.  My Groupon was for $60 (but I paid only $30 of it), enabling me to get a cute wristlet.  Mine was purple, with black satin, and white with black flocking accents.  Because I had a Groupon, I wasn’t able to take advantage of an in-store discount, but when you’re saving $30 another $6 kinda seems like small potatoes.   I’d definitely buy something at 1154 Lill again, and I check my Groupon e-mail every day to see if there’s something good.

I’m a huge Groupon fan. The only problem… all those emails are really tempting. It’s hard to resist some of those deals.

Groupon isn’t the only deal buying site like that – I work for a company called SocialBuy, and we operate on the same business model. The only difference is that we focus on more high-end deals in LA and San Francisco. We also do online deals for sites like SparklesForever.com. You ladies should check it out! http://www.socialbuy.com

@Jess-thanks for the info on Social Buy. If I may, might I suggest you set the online deals as a “city,” so that East-coasters don’t miss out.
