Do ya? Huh, huh, do ya? I HATE the Teleflora ads griping about flowers in a box. I find them so tacky. If whomever you send flowers to is so shallow that they are bothered my flowers in a box, you need better peeps (then again, if you believe TV your spouse will only believe you love him/her if s/he gets a Lexus or diamond, and your kids must get all the toys they want) . I LOVE 1-800-Flowers. Their product is top-notch, their Fresh Rewards program is great (just ordered a gift from the popcorn factory for a holiday gift using a Fresh Rewards pass, and I, personally like the fact that they’re sending them. I don’t have to worry about how the Hicksville florist will make my flowers (although I’m sure there are good florists in Hicksville). I can track my flowers via Fedex, an option I don’t have with hand-delivered flowers. I have utilized their local florist delivery and been pleased with it. So please, don’t pick your flowers via a stupid ad.
Yeah, I send flowers in a box. You got a problem with that?

Hey, I’d be thrilled to have ANY flowers sent to me. My husband thinks they are a waste of money

Hi, Hedy! Sorry you think the ads are tacky, that is one of the challenges of using humorous content (since everyone’s sense of humor is unique!).
I like to think of florist arranged flowers vs. boxed flowers in this way – it’s like hiring a professional interior designer – you could put it together yourself, but lots of people think it’s well worth the money to use a professional who knows the tricks of the trade.
We’re also happy to note that we’re supporting about 18,000 local business people (in the form of flower shops), which flowers in a box don’t necessarily do.
I do agree with you 100% not to pick your flower company by the advertising, but by the product that makes you happiest in the end. Thanks!
