Great Customer Service!

As I might have mentioned before, I worked in phone based customer service for two years.  Couple that with my years of retail, paired with a job in college which trained us in the Fish principles, and I am a slightly demanding customer.  That said, I believe that excellent customer service deserves to be publically recognized.

I know that many Disney fans will bemoan, that Disney service has gone down the tubes recently.  This has not been my experience, personally.  When I was there in October, I left my laptop charger in my room.  I called my hotel (Port Orleans French Quarter) and I no sooner opened the conversation with “Hello, I believe I may have left my charger in my room,” than the person responded “Hedy? We sent it in the mail today.”

I recently got a new pair of pants from Torrid.  Yesterday, the fly broke.  I called Torrid’s 1800 number, and they refunded my card likethat, no questions asked.
