I have now been blogging for one year-I can’t believe it. I talked about starting a personal finance blog since I started reading pf blogs in late ’06. I must express my gratitude for Tricia,whom I knew from Sunshine Rewards, but is a new media powerhouse of her own accord. I also thank my fellow Chattywomen, as well as all the pf bloggers who came before me who I learned from throughout the past year.

I really enjoyed reading your post “Need a cool gift idea? What about address labels?” That really is a great idea. I love address labels myself, but had never really thought of giving some as a gift. Who couldn’t use address labels?! GREAT idea!

I was a fan of the entry where you wrote about the free stuff you can get for your birthday. I love free stuff and don’t seem to keep track of all the goodies available.
My personal favorite was the post where you discussed what options a vegetarian has for Thanksgiving dinner. Though The moldy Quorn has kinda turned me away from trying it, I did try the Tofurky and I also love the Alton Brown recipe you linked.

I ran into your blog in November because I invited a friend who is a vegetarian to Thanksgiving dinner. I did a search for What does a vegetarian eat for Thanksgiving and came to your blog. I was easily able to go Whole Foods and find the roast! I didn’t find the dipping sauce you used, but at least I knew the right thing to make.
