This week’s (posted on Wednesday, but I’ve had a crazy week!) SquawkBack Wednesday was the three biggest financial mistakes you’ve made. I’d say that mine were:
- Running up credit card debt after my father died
- Putting money in a CD rather than a high-yield savings account my sophomore year of college
- Grossly underestimating the amount in my FSA for this year*

Ironically, I got the news on my insurance for 2009 this year-my deductible will be going up slightly, and my co-insurance is going down. Compared to what else in happening in healthcare, it not horrible, but I think I may put more in my FSA than I was planning on-it’s just such a fine line!
