Except I didn’t take my llama. I went to the dentist today. I had no cavities, which is always a good thing, given that my family dental history is pretty bad. I guess the money I shell out on ACT is paying off. I was, however, warned that I need to watch the pressure I put on my teeth when I brush, and that the power-ish brushes I get at CVS aren’t good-I should use a manual or electric toothbrush. I’m thinking that getting a electric toothbrush may be a worthwhile investment. In good news, when I was making my next appointment, I asked if I owed anything from the cavities I had filled earlier this year-she checked, and I was due a credit of $20. woot! There’s $20 towards the electric toothbrush.

My dentist keeps recommending one of those electric toothbrushes to me as well. I think the dentists must be in cahoots with the manufacturers. Either that, or maybe they really work. Maybe I’ll ask for one for Christmas because I doubt I’ll ever buy one for myself.
In terms of keeping away cavities, I don’t know. However, mine seems to make my teeth whiter
Forest-A friend of mine got a toothbrush when she was in a dental study, so I think they may work.
Aleksie-they help keep you from over-brushing your gums.
