Auto air conditioning

I was in Florida last weekend. The only plus of Fay was that it ws cooler than it generally would be. However, I don’t know how Floridians survived without auto air conditioning. Of course, I’m sure that when their air conditioning fails, say, if they need a new A/C compressor, they need to get it fixed.
