w00t for school supplies

by hedy on August 13, 2008

As I’ve been well aware of thanks to advertising, it’s Back to School season. While I’m not presently in a back to school sort of lifestyle, I give the nephews and niece school supplies as a back to school present. I’m always on the lookout for funky, different school supplies that are a bit cooler than what their parents will buy them. It’s gotten harder as they’ve gotten older. I’m thinking a Dymo label marker would be a cool addition to their gifts. Their website features a bunch of great ideas for the labelers’ use in back to school activities-labeling books (great for middle schoolers who now have books for each subject they must cover!), gym clothes, lunch boxes, and File folders. I think their website has several really original ideas on there-I never would think to use a labeler’s labels for gym clothes, but it’s a great idea. As I said, I’m not going back to school this year, but I think a Dymo label maker would be great for labeling the recycled containers I use in my lunch every day. They would also be great to use to help organize the myriad of storage containers that I have.

We used a labeler at work. I forget what brand it was. Our boss carried it in like it was a bomb (came in a black case).

It was fun, and now I kind of want one
