That an entity which owes you money is slower at getting you said money than getting your money. I’m presently waiting for three fairly sizeable refunds-an overpayment on my auto loan from when I refinanced, a refund from my insurance company due to an surcharge appeal, and my stimulus check. None have arrived.
I got a letter two weeks ago from the former lienholder on my car. As I thought there was a slight overpayment, when I got the letter from them, I figured that there’d be some word about the overpayment. No word. I called them, check’s going out this Friday…3 weeks after the account was paid off.
To be fair, the lack of check from the insurance company is not their fault-the DMV has yet to tell them my surcharge was appealed. However, I am somewhat annoyed it’s taken the DMV that long to tell them.
My lack of stimulus check frustrates me because because I am frugal, I owed on my taxes this year. Had I upped my deductions, I would probably have had it deposited by now. Grr.

I was wondering why I haven’t received our stimulus check yet, but I realized that I still haven’t sent in our signature form for our taxes. That baby is going out today for sure! I can be such a moron!
