We’re now two weeks into January and I am wondering how everyone is faring with New Years Resolutions. Are yours already over for the year or are you just gearing up for them?
Personally, I didn’t make any New Year’s resolutions this year. In part it’s because I just don’t like to fail. But I did sign up for the mini marathon in Indianapolis and had to start training for it late in December. So it’s not really a resolution but more of a health-related obligation that I have to work toward. I’m thinking that if I follow the mini-marathon training schedule until May, I will have to satisfy what my resolution SHOULD have been, which is exercising more and getting healthy.
Are you keeping your New Year’s resolutions? Or are they already a bust? Is it a meaningless tradition or a chance to start every year with a clean slate and good intentions?
