I had to do a little research to find out the answer to this, but it appears that the price of stamps will be increasing on Monday, May 12. The change that is most likely to affect all of us is that regular first-class stamps will be increasing by 1 cent.
The good news is that you can stock up on the Forever Stamps right now and they will still be good at the 41 cent rate. Make sure that you get the Forever Stamps! If you try to use a regular 41 cent stamp after Monday, you will need to get an extra 1 cent of postage for it.
The Postal Service is also making a number of other changes, some of which will supposedly save you money. These affect mainly people who ship Express Mail or Priority Mail.
