Last night we were going to have a lot of family stuff to do and not much time. Having been off WW for the last couple of weeks, I was determined to get back on. So I decided to pick up a couple of Weight Watchers meals for me and my husband for dinner.
You would think that since Weight Watchers knows their formula, their meals would actually be a little bit filling. I had a 7 point meal and was absolutely starving! For 7 points on my own, I could have made grilled chicken breast, veggies, a small baked potato, and a side of fruit. Instead, I got about 4 bites of turkey, 4 bites of stuffing, 6 green beans, and a lick of cranberry sauce.
I’m really confused about why their meals are so high in points for the amount of food you get. I could have had a Subway sandwich and side of baked chips for the small Weight Watchers meal I got. And surely Weight Watchers understands that it’s because I love to eat that I am on Weight Watchers to begin with!!
Come on, Weight Watchers! Your food is convenient and has flavor. But my kids’ tv dinner was bigger than the meal I got to eat. Can’t you bulk it up a little for those of us who don’t want to waste 7 points on a micro meal?

Probably because they are using full fat/full cal items in the frozen stuff. I’m so turned off by frozen meals that I avoid them at all costs.

I had a little oriental chicken one today. It was only 4 points and was the same size as the 7 point one that I had the other day! I can handle 4 points.
The one meal that I really do like is the lasagna since lasagna is hard to eat on WW. I’ll eat a big 0 point salad first and then the WW lasagna meal.
Thumbs up on the new 1 point WW chocolate chip cookies. They are not perfect, but they are good for 1 point.
