Tonight I was watching Lost via my Tivo. I was multitasking so I actually missed it. But luckily my husband (”the holder of the remote”) was watching. Very quickly before a commercial break, “The Mole” and a fingerprint flashed up on the screen. I thought at first that it was some bizarre mistake. But about 10 minutes later, it happened again!! “The Mole” and the same green fingerprint flashed up on the screen.
I immediately opened a new window to Google and started researching. Although I could not find anything specific, I did find confirmation that ABC started open casting for a new “Mole” a couple of months ago. One of the requirements was a passport valid from March through November of 2008. I’m guessing that they are done casting now and actually filming.
For those of you who never saw “The Mole,” it was one of the smartest reality shows ever. One member of the group was “The Mole” and all of the others had to figure out who it was. Every week they would be given a quiz and whoever had the most wrong answers was eliminated. Anderson Cooper was the original host. The show really jumped the shark, though, when it moved to a celebrity version.
It appears that “The Mole” will be airing sometime this summer and for some reason they want to simplify it so that viewers can play along better. I hope that they do not change it too much because it was wonderful before!

I never watched it before but I remember my family talking alot about it when it first aired. I’ll have to be on the lookout for it.

I remember this show as being very good. If I recall correctly I guessed the mole right the last non celeb one they did. I’ll definatley try and check it out when it airs.

I might have to try watching it again. It was confusing to me the last time – however I only watched it once for about 15 minutes….
