I’ve been really busy the past couple of weeks and have missed like 7 episodes of American Idol. Can I just say that you almost have to keep your head in a bag and avoid all media to not spoil American Idol for yourself if you are watching it on Tivo?
I’ve been avoiding not only my favorite sites like TMZ but also really basic sites like CNN for two weeks now! If I don’t get caught up soon, I think that I am going to have to stop watching all news. I even have to avoid certain threads in my forum for fear of what they are saying.
It’s an interesting commentary on our lives that a show like American Idol can be so pervasive that you can’t avoid talk about it without making a concerted effort. Hopefully I’ll get caught up in the next 24 hours so that I can visit TMZ again….especially since I showed up in a TMZ video of Bette Midler in Vegas last week!
