The verdict is not entirely in on the Detox Foot Pads, and I am not sure that it ever will be. What the heck am I talking about?
Well, I may not be able to complete the Detox Food Pad experiment. You see, I have a very sensitive nose. I’m talking like a bloodhound. And these things have made my feet have some weird smell. I tried taking a shower. Then I soaked my feet in aromatherapy water. Still didn’t help. So I scrubbed them with peppermint scrub from Baubles, Bling and Things. That seemed to help the most.
Before the smell started, I do think that they might have been working. I usually go to bed at about 12:30 and get up around 7. I went to bed at 12:30 and at 5am, I could have jumped out of bed and worked out. I was feeling really energized. The smell when I went to bed was actually very pleasing!
You can check the Body Purifying Foot Pads that I have out at Gaiam. If you get them or have had them and can figure out how to get the smell to go away the next day, I will happily try them again!
But an hour later, I am still smelling it again. It’s a weird smell that is just too strong for me. Maybe I need to put shoes on over my socks??

hmmm….I wonder if I should just bite the bullet and give these a try? All my kids have smelly feet so I might as well join them.
One product I swear by is from The Body Shop. It is a spray that rejuvenates your legs and feet, but a great “side effect” is that it is also a fabulous deoderizer. I’ll see if I can dig up the name for you.

I keep thinking I should get these….maybe I should just take the plunge and get them. Not sure how I would deal with an odd smell though…
