Although I am officially not making any New Year’s Resolutions this year, I can’t help but try some new beauty/health/weight loss stuff that I have seen online. The closest that I am coming to making a resolution is that I want to get my health back on track. Here are a few things that I have ordered today:
From Gaiam: Body Purifying Foot Pads. These supposedly detoxify your body. In particular I am curious to try them at a time where I will (hopefully) be losing a little bit of weight. “They” (you know…the people you don’t really know but you always believe) say that when you lose weight, your body breaks down a lot of chemicals and has to remove them. I’m hoping that whatever gets broken down can disappear through my feet. Strange concept. But these are big in Japan. And the Japanese are always on the cutting edge of herbal health care. (At least that is what “they” say.)
Lipocerin from Nutritional Science Labs. My mom swears by these things to help curb her appetite. I tried them a bit before Christmas but didn’t do it religiously enough to see if it would really help. I figure it can’t hurt to try. And you can take $12.00 off of a bottle if you use code Sunshine12.
Too Faced FUZE Slenderize Guilt Free Lip Gloss Strawberry Melon Maybe it is just that I am a sucker for anything that Sephora recommends to me. But I like the look of this stuff. From the description: “A super shiny lip gloss inspired by Fuze energy drinks that energizes and slenderizes.” Sounds nifty to me. I’ll try any lip gloss once.
And we have to combine these with the new eliptical machine that my husband and I bought each other for Christmas. We previously only had a treadmill and only one of us could exercise at a time. Now we have two pieces of equipment next to each other and can drag each other to the basement to use them.
I’ll be sure to report back on my new product finds after I have had a chance to use them. Let me know if you try them, too!

We do have the foot pads on SR! You can get them through the Gaiam shopping link. I hope they are not too terribly stinky. LOL!
