Top Ten Procedures That Might Disappear Under the Obama Health Plan 

1) Reduce the number of drug choices available (for instance blood pressure medication not one kind works on everyone)

2) Knee or Hip Replacements for the elderly (so just because mom is 86 but is very active she cannot have her hip replaced if she falls and breaks it? that is INSANE)

3) CTs / MRIs – Reduce the number of these procedures done (say you have breast cancer found on a mammogram, the government can tell you that a CT to detect whether or not the cancer has spread is not necessary – do we want the government deciding this or our physicians? This really hits home with me since I am a CT tech)

4) Cataract surgery (this is not extending the life span but merely improving the quality of life – not a necessary procedure under the Obama plan – would he want to go blind because he was denied a procedure?)

5) Cardiac Stents (saying that they have not been proven to extend life and are not necessary – that is total BS – my mom would not be alive today without the cardiac stents she had put in)
Endangered procedures?  This could be very scary for America.  Be aware.  We are losing our CHOICES here.  Check out this video.

Under the Obama plan, these procedures could also very well go away. 

1) Targeted Cancer Treatments (these newest cancer treatments have improved treatment accuracy 90% compared to years ago)

2) Cosmetic or Reconstructive procedures (example:  even burns – as a burn patient surgery may not be considered necessary if it is not life saving)

3) Transplants (transplants are already hard to get, under this plan you would wait even longer or not even be considered a candidate due to more strict guidelines)

4) Bariatric Surgery (this surgery can mean the difference in life or death for some people – but would not be considered a necessary procedure)

5) Dialysis (this would be denied to people who may have certain illnesses or have caused the kidney problems due to something they had done in their lifetime)
