My Exercise Diary aka Hold Me Accountable!!!

I’ve decided that if I truly am going to break out of my insecure shell and actually wear a bikini this summer (gasp) I need to get my butt in gear. I tend to have bursts of activity, and then loose all motivation for a few days. I’ve found that since having my second child my tummy hasn’t budged, and that’s were all my fat is! Since I don’t want to have surgery, and can’t afford it anyway, I’m going to have to fix it the old fashioned way, eat right and exercise!

As it stands, my only scheduled workouts are my Cardio Pilates, which I attend every Monday and Thursday mornings. M (the instructor) is ruthless, and she adds on repetitions with every complaint made, or if one of us drops the position early! Of course, she is a dancer, so the woman has a body of steel, and can do amazing things. I’ve made her swear she will never do stretchs in front of my husband, cause then he’ll expect ME to put MY leg over my head, and THAT AIN’T HAPPENING!!!!

Anyway, I thought I’d better start posting my workouts here, so that I can hold myself accountable for getting my butt up and moving. I am pretty active with my kids, but as far as just plain old working up a sweat, I’m behind the times. It’s getting too warm to be working out indoors, so once the bikes come out of the shop that will help, and I am really going to try to convince myself that running is a good idea. I’m soooo not a fan, but all the runners I know are skinny bitches, so there must be something to it. Now, if only I could find the time…..
