Hey folks! I promised an update on my Wii Fit adventures. Have I mentioned how much I love this game? I’ve put in about 30-40 minutes a day on it, and I’ve unlocked many of the exercises and games. It is really easy to unlock new items, the more fit points you earn, the more becomes unlocked. So far I have been completely stymied by the advanced tightrope walk, but I kick ass and take names in advanced Hula Hooping. My husband particularly enjoys when I play that one
I really hate my mii, though. It adjusts itself according to my weight and BMI, ect. I went from having a svelte sexy Mii to a short stubby tubby Mii. My daughter even said my Mii looked too fat. I suppose it is a good visual motivator, as I can’t wait for the day when my Mii is skinny again. However, it really is quite embarrassing to have the fattest mii in the house.
The one thing I haven’t looked into yet is the fitness counter. I guess it is a place where you can input your other daily activities and you earn points for that. It sounds like a great way to keep track of what you are doing overall. I do wish that the program had an accurate calories burned calculator. I tried guesstimating the activities on a calorie/activity counter, but alas…there was no option for Wii Hula Hooping. They are going to have to correct that soon methinks.
If you haven’t gotten a Wii yet….get out there and find one. If you haven’t gotten the Wii Fit yet…good luck. These pups are harder to get a hold of than the Wii itself. Well worth every penny and mile traveled to get one!

I am addicted to Wii Fit!! But I have to say that I think I went a little too hard the other day because my thighs hurt so bad I can’t even squat. LOL! I think it was a combination of the strength exercises and a couple of the yoga moves.
My daughter loves the hula hoop as well. I am partial to the soccer thing. I also really like the advanced dance step.
The fat Mii thing freaked me out at first. But it is definitely a good reality check and motivator. I hadn’t been on a scale in about 3 weeks and am now back at my WW again as a result of Wii Fit. I can’t encourage people enough to buy these!

I am addicted to Wii Fit as well!! I have been doing at least 45 minutes a day. Yesterday I got into the boxing and the free step and ended up doing 1 hour 40 minutes. I am very sore today! I love how it shows you the correct posture therefore you don’t have to do as many reps for it to be really productive! Love it!!
