Active Review: The Rocket from Bella Kitchen

by nicholmom3 on June 10, 2008

I mentioned before that I scored a Magic Bullet Blender from Kohls for a mere $25. That was only partially true. In fact, the blender I bought was The Rocket made by Bella Kitchen. It looks just like the MB set, and cost the same.

I pulled it out today to give it a whirl. (Heh…get it? Give it a…nevermind)

I have a platter of cut fruit in the fridge, and it doesn’t last long, so I decided to make myself a little smoothie for lunch. You can see the whole recipe here. This puppy can rip! I had big chinks of fruit, fruit juice, and ice cubes, and the blender jussed them up just fine. It just takes pressing down on the cup and the blender does all the work. I like especially how there are different size cups, so you can accurately measure ingredients. There are also solid caps for storage, holey caps for shaking, and rims so you can just drink right out of the blender cup.

All in all, this is a handy little gadget. It takes up a slice of the room of my traditional blender. I can definately see myself pulling this baby out frequently. This is a great buy!

I enjoy my Rocket, I also purchased it at Kohls. I would like to get a bigger size so can do 3 or 4 cups at 1 time.

I got one as a gift from my daughter and it worked good the first 2 times i used it.The third time i made smoothies and it was hard to stop it.I couldnt unlock it. Finally it unlocked. The 4th time we came home from the beach and i made us a small batch of frozen fruit smoothies and the second batch i couldnt stop it from running again!!!! I had to unplug it and its still sitting in the counter melting. I dont want to break it but it wont come apart!!!! So I would say No dont buy it…

Horrible product, can’t blend ice! I bought to make smoothies, big waste. I would reccomend spending a little more and getting the Bullet Blender.

I also bought my rocket at Kohls. Can you help me with replacement parts please. I can not find my manual and broke me large blending cup. Is there a website or number to call for parts?? Thanks So Much!

I bought one at Kohls also. I used it a few times…put the cups in the dishwasher…It says dishwasher safe. Now the blender part will not fit down in the machine.

I need the instruction book, since it didn’t come in my box. How to use it looks obvious, but I’d like hints on blending salsa since it chopped the tomatoes but not the cilantro. I would also like recipe ideas.

I, too, received the 17 pc. Bella
rocket and it does not have an instruction and/or recipe book in the box. Can someone tell me how to get one or e-mail me the directions?

I got a “rocket” last month and loved it until last night making a protein shake and encountered the same lock/jam problem sue posted in 2008. Luckily mine is still under warranty and I DO have my manual and receipt! For those looking for info, the company’s web site is http://www.sensioinc.com and the manual is available there. Their # is 866-832-4843.
