A Few of My Favorite Things…a guide to Holiday Music

November 27th, 2007 · No Comments

One of my favortie things to do to start THE SEASON off is to compile a few playlists of Holiday Music that plays almost constantly throughout my home.

I’m a fan of nearly every genre, and nearly every genre has holiday music to enjoy. I thought I’d compile a list of this year’s favorites.

Josh Groban- NOEL

What can I say? The man has a phenomonal voice, and this album has all the classics, my personal choice for quiet background during dinner.

Michael Buble- Let It Snow

I love his voice, the only downfall of this album is the length! With only 6 songs, it’s over before you know it. A great addition to a playlist.

Martina McBride- White Christmas

She’s a little woman with a huge voice. This album includes all the classics, a perfect addition to your playlist.

Christmas with The Rat Pack

Classic. One of My favorite holiday albums of all time. You just can’t get this kind of sound anymore. I especially love playing this album while decorating and baking.

Celtic Women- A Christmas Celebration

Even if you aren’t a fan of celtic music, I highly recommend you check out this album. These voices are crystal clear, and the entire album has a wonderful sound.

James Taylor at Christmas

He’s one of my all time favorite artist’s, and his holiday album is no different. Perfect in a shuffled playlist.

The Cheetah Girls- Cheetalicious Christmas

Yes I am totally serious. The kids will LOVE it, and it won’t make you bleed from the ears. It’s a pretty fun album to bop to in the car on the way to see some holiday lights.

The best part of this list is that you can listen to samples of all the tracks, as well as order the cd or mp3’s on Amazon.com

Happy Holidays!! and Happy Listening!
