Everyday Mom

I got my Vocalpoint pack today!  I signed up with them about a year ago.  Over the past year, I have had the privilege of receiving several opportunities to hear about new products and receive coupons.  I have even received promotional pieces to share with friends and have been given the chance to discuss products and services with other moms online.  At www.vocalpoint.com, you can sign up to be a part of the group as well.  There you will find surveys, focus groups, message boards, product reviews, and articles on everything from ways to keep your kids active to ways to keep your house clean. 

Today’s pack was centered around driving more responsibly by using your cell phone and MP3 player hands free.  Ford has a new feature in some of its models.  It is called SYNC powered by Microsoft.  SYNC is a fully integrated, voice-activated system for controlling your cell phone and digital music player while driving so you can hold on to the wheel.  Simple voice commands and the touch of a button make it possible for SYNC to do what you tell it.  I wonder if SYNC works on husbands or teenagers?  If you would like more info about this new Ford feature developed by Microsoft, visit www.gostreetsmart.com.  Also included in my pack was a fun free gift!  Vocalpoint is great at getting information out while also catering to its members.  The pack came with some cute “bumper stickers”.  I use that term lightly because they aren’t really stickers.  Enclosed with the “stickers” was a static sleeve so that you could slide the catchy phrases in and place them in your back window without having to put a real sticker on your vehicle.  Something I would never do!  My favorite of the witty reads was “This isn’t Pacman, please pick a lane. . .”  Very cute, and oh so true!

It’s fun to receive my Vocalpoint pack.  I like to see what’s new, and I know that there will also be a treat for me.  I wonder what will come my way next!  Go sign up.  These days, it’s fun to get anything but a bill in the mail.
