Save Gas–Shop Online!

April 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment

$3.65/gallon!  Are you kidding me?  I cannot believe how expensive it is just to drive across town these days.  It isn’t so bad if you live in small town America, but if you live in a metropolitan area, across town could be 10 maybe 20 miles.  Don’t get me wrong, I know that there is a lot of driving in small towns as well, but I drive 5-10 miles to get to most anywhere here in suburban Indianapolis.  It’s getting expensive just to do everyday stuff like get groceries, taxi kids to activities, go out to dinner, and shop.  If I’ve ever needed a reason to shop online it would be now.

I’ve never been one to spend a lot of time on the internet.  In fact, it hasn’t been until recently that my best friend has invited me to learn more about communicating, shopping, blogging and earning online.  I can’t believe what there is available right from my computer.  I didn’t realize that, with coupons and free shipping, shopping online is often cheaper than going to the store.  Now that gas is so expense and I have two very active children, I definitly need to learn how to save time and money.  It would even be nice if I could make money.

Did you know that merchants are actually willing to pay to get you to spend your money with them online?  I am working part time for a company called Sunshine Rewards that is helping to connect thousands of shoppers to online merchants.  In fact, this is the same company that my best friend owns and is using to educate me on how the internet isn’t as confusing and useless as I thought it was.  It actually has the power to make our lives easier and free us up for the things that we really want to do like spend time with our families or take a nap!  At Sunshine Rewards, you can get connected to hundreds of merchants that offer credit back to you when you shop with them online through their partnership with Sunshine.  Sunshine Rewards even has exclusive coupons that you cannot find anywhere else.  I just made a purchase at 4inkjets.com.  I bought ink for our printer and for our copier, ink that I had to by anyway no matter where I purchased it.  I made my purchase, received my products, AND earned a reward for shopping online via a simple click through Sunshine Rewards.  In fact, I made more than $10.00.  Now, I have never been offered $10 just for shopping at Staples or Office Depot down the street.  In fact, I had to find a parking spot, stand in line to check out, get gas on my way home, and waste 30 minutes of my life.  Ordering online took me about 5 minutes and did I mention, that I made $10?  This is just one example too!  I have made several purchases through Sunshine Rewards at my favorite merchants and received a credit just for that same simple click each time.  Instead of going directly to my merchant of choice, I simple go to Sunshine Rewards first.  I go to their incredible list of merchants, find the one I need, check for exclusive coupons or discounts, and click on the merchant.  Sunshine quickly directs me to the merchant’s website and allows me to shop.  A few days later, I find that Sunshine Rewards has given me a credit for my purchase!  Sometimes it’s only 1%, but sometimes it is up to 10%, 12%, even 15%!  Whatever the percentage back, it just makes sense to me as an everyday mom to do all that I can to get the most for my money–Great Merchants, Good Deals, Exclusive Coupons, No Fighting Crowds, Saving Time and Gas, AND Earning a Percentage on my Purchase–Now that is just good sense.

Do you need to save gas?   Then you should shop online!  Check out Sunshine Rewards, sunshinerewards.com, it is a great place to start!

You won’t find a better place to shop online then Sunshine Rewards. It has a really neat forum where you can make a lot of friends too.
