Everyday Mom

As my daughter said this morning, “Tomorrow is the big day!”  The Kid’s Choice Awards air tomorrow night on Nickelodeon at 8:00 p.m. EST.  However, the festivities really start at about 6:00 p.m. when they roll out the orange carpet.  Adrienne is having a few little girlfriends over for a KCA party.  We are going to have some pizza while we fill out our ballots and enjoy watching all of the stars arrive.  Then, we are going to watch a new episode of SpongeBob Squarepants that will air at 7:30 p.m. EST just prior to the start of the awards.  The girls are really getting excited about seeing the musical performances and are even more pumped to see who gets slimed!  I used the resources at www.nick.com to pull a quick little party together including invitations and a list of categories and nominees.  This is our first KCA party–I’m getting a little excited myself.  It’s a fun way to get friends together and help make a few childhood memories.  If you plan on watching, I hope you enjoy the show.  My favorite part will be the host, Jack Black–he cracks me up!
