The Busy Life of a Single Mom

This week it appears that summer is almost here! I’m very excited. The lows this week are in the 70s and the highs in the 80s. This speaks of outdoors to me. My family loves to spend time outside - we love grilling our dinners and swimming in the pool. We play basketball and baseball outside, and Cameron loves to play on her swing set. Personally I’m eagerly waiting for that pool time. We are replacing our pool liner this summer (and maybe the pump, but I’m hoping not) and I want to add a deck around the pool for lounging. I’ve already talked to my dad, and he’s working on some designs, and I’m looking at teak outdoor furniture in hopes of being able to lounge around the pool all summer when Cameron wants to swim and maybe eating our dinners poolside. Yep - 85 degrees is almost pool time. I think we’ll be working on the yard this weekend.
