Online Phone Cards

April 16th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I have recently been in a dilemma.  I get pretty good cell phone service at my house, but not great. However, I really want to have my landline phone turned off. I hate paying that bill every month as we typically use our landline phone four times a month (Cameron uses it every Sunday to call my grandmother). Last month I called and had all optional features turned off of it to lower the bill as much as possible including my long distance plan.

So now I want to find a decent long distance phone card to keep by the phone just in case we do need to make a call. There are lots of options for phone cards, but I think I am going to go with an  online phone card.  Phonecardsavenue.com appears to be a great source for finding a phone card to suit my needs. They offer both national and international options (which I consider a plus since my brother is now overseas).  Another great feature to this site is that they are not selling just one type of phone card. You have many options to choose from so that you can find the card that best suits your calling needs.

Having a hard time deciding what phone card you may need? PhoneCardAvenue also has a live support option on their website.  They can answer any questions you have so that you are positive you are buying the right card. Another plus is that you get your card instantly. You do not have to wait on the mail system as they are sent to your email as soon as you finish your purchase. You will have instant access to the card number and pin and can begin making phone calls instantly. Finally, they have a reward program that allows you to earn 3% back on your phone card purchases. With their already low prices, this is a great bonus.

Yea. I’ve never really had a need for a calling card before, but it looks like they offer pretty good deals.
