The Busy Life of a Single Mom

No - not winter or spring - the end of my extracurricular activity season. We are officially done for the school year. It is sad for it to be over, but it’s also a relief (I have to admit).  I coach our speech and debate program so it basically starts from the first day of school. Next year’s topic has been announced, and we could get started, but we will not start on it until at least summer.

We are rapidly approaching summer vacation too (32 more days), and I’m thrilled.  This year has flown by but now seems to be dragging. We are still in the middle of softball season, but it’s nice to be down to just softball and dance/twirling lessons. Yes. I love the slide from April to the end of May. It seems like every few days the stress level decreases. This morning I laid in bed and thought about how it wouldn’t be long until I could sleep in. I can’t wait!
