As mentioned in a previous post today, I design websites for friends of mine who own small businesses. I have a website that I will be posting in the next couple days so I have been trying to also help them find ways to get their website noticed. After all, without visitors a website is of little benefit to a small business.

Since starting this blog, I have learned that listing in web directories is one of the easiest ways to start getting your website out to the public and hopefully noticed. However, my focus has been on directories that support blogs – not really that of businesses.
